Lollipop Cupcakes

Cupcakes!
What child does not jump for joy when they see one. Even as an adult, I certainly do!

My little one found the idea of a cupcake with a lollipop delightful because he was getting not just one, but two treats at once. Add on some sprinkles and he couldn't be happier.

For most of my baking my go-to site has been Joy of Baking. This woman has amazed me over and over again. I have made many of her recipes and always been quite happy with the outcome.

For these cupcakes I used her Vanilla Cupcake recipe. I added some sprinkles inside the mix for some "wow" factor.

I love the fact that she has a video with her recipe. I usually like to watch the video as I follow along to make sure the consistency is the same. This woman is AMAZING.

For the frosting I chose my typical go to recipe from My Cupcake Addiction. Totally delicious and very easy to follow.

Frosted cupcakes done. I placed some sprinkles in a dish, dipped the cupcake and voila!

For extra cuteness, I added a tulip shaped rainbow lollipop and wrapped it all nicely for each individual child.
